2016 PGRN-ASHG Symposium Information | Oct. 17-18, 2016; Vancouver, Canada

Have you heard? The Pharmacogenomics Research Network (PGRN) is hosting the PGRN-ASHG Symposium, entitled “The Expanding Universe of Pharmacogenomics,” immediately prior to the ASHG Annual Meeting on Monday, October 17, 2016 and Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in Vancouver, Canada.

This symposium, organized by the PGRN and open to all ASHG attendees, PGRN members and all other interested parties, explores current topics in pharmacogenomics with sessions on innovative approaches for identifying genes that influence drug response, the role of pharmacogenomics in drug discovery, technologies used in pharmacogenomic studies and the evolution of pharmacogenes. In addition, there will be an interactive panel discussion with diverse stakeholders on issues affecting the clinical implementation of pharmacogenomic testing.
