Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Applying for NIH Grants (But Were Afraid to Ask)
New and Early-Stage Investigators attending the 2023 ASHG meeting in Washington DC are invited to participate in this ancillary event, hosted by NHGRI. NHGRI staff will walk you through the NIH funding process, including topics like: how to identify the right institute and funding opportunity for your proposal, how to connect with a Program Officer and how they can help you, and how understanding how a grant review works can help you write better proposals. The session will also introduce you to the NIH Data Sharing policies, what they cover, and how to incorporate data sharing plans into your grant application.
