2025 HuBMAP Summer Undergraduate Internship Program

HuBMAP (the Human BioMolecular Atlas Program) is an NIH-funded initiative that will generate 3D tissue maps and construct an atlas of the function and relationships among cells in the human body.

HubMAP is offering a paid summer research experience where undergraduate students will be placed in HuBMAP labs across the country. The internship program provides a fantastic opportunity to learn an exciting new area of biology, build connections, gain valuable scientific skills, and conduct research in single cell biology.

Eligible students will:

·       Be an undergraduate student attending a US institution at the time of application.

·       Be college undergraduates in the United States majoring in any of the STEM fields with a minimum of 3.0 grade point average.

·       Be 17 years of age or older.

Please note that the deadline for applications is February 1, 2025. Applications will open November 25, 2024.

Preference will be given to students who do not have ready access to biomedical (and/or single cell biology) research opportunities in their home institutions.

NIH encourages the participation of individuals from populations that are underrepresented in the biomedical, clinical, behavioral and social sciences. See the Notice of NIH’s Interest in Diversity.
